This lesson covers voiding an item that has not been made in Toast. Remember to discount food that was made and void food that was not made.
How to Void an item in Toast
To void an item in Toast, select the item from the order screen.
Then click on Void from the options.
You will be prompted for a Void Reason.
If the server swiped their card to open the table, you'll have to enter your manager approval code to void an item already sent to the kitchen.
Once the item is voided you'll see it on the check still, but it'll be voided.
All fields are required.
