Voiding a Gift Card

Voiding a gift card should only be done for mistaken transactions.  For example: The card was issued for the wrong amount or redeemed for the wrong amount.  You must still posses the card and the Merchant copy of the mistaken transaction.

What you will need:  

* if you do not have one or both of these items please contact the support center with any details you have and we will help

1. The gift card

2. The merchant copy from the transaction you need to void

Voiding The Transaction

1. Select the "Gift/Loyalty" menu

2. Select "Void"

3. When prompted swipe the gift card with the mag swipe facing the gift card terminal.

4. Enter the Batch ID: 

5. Enter the Batch Ref:

6. Enter the Transaction ID:

7. Enter the Approval Number:

8. The "Merchant Copy" will print and you should see the transaction has been voided

9. Hit "Enter" to print the "Customer Copy"
