How to Change or Add a Guest to a Check

Toast has a great Guest database that allows you to assign an order to a guest. Then the guests can repeat an order quickly both online and in-store. This lesson covers adding a Guest to a check or changing a Guest on a check.

Change Customer

1. Open the ticket that needs a customer change.

2. Click the ellipsis in the top right corner.

3. Select Change Customer.

4. From this page you can search customers by email, name, or phone number.


5. Select the customer and then at the bottom of the screen click Done.

6. Click Send to save the changes.
