How to set availability in HotSchedules

Keeping your schedule availability is essential to a smooth and pleasant schedule process. This lesson will help you update and maintain your availability in HotSchedules.


How to Set Availability in HotSchedules


Setting availability in HotSchedules is a critical step and it helps to insure that the scheduling process goes smoothly for both managers and employees.


1. Login to Hotschedules.com

2. Click the settings waffle in the upper left hand corner.




3. Hover over "Settings" and then select "Personal"




4. You will then see your current availability or a blank availability screen indicating that you are not available.

5. To set a new availability, click the "availability +"




6. Set when you would like the new availability schedule to be active






7.  provide a reason for the change





8. Then add where you are available by clicking on the week grid

9. Once you have completed the new availability schedule, click "Submit Availability" at the bottom of the screen.
