How Do I Complete a Payroll Confirmation PSC?

There are many people working on payroll across Hideaway Pizza and the payroll folks at the Operations Support Center cannot begin their portion on the payroll process until each GM or Payroll Manager has completed any time edits and confirmed that the hours are correct.  This confirmation process is now standardized on the landing page in the form of the Payroll Confirmation PSC.  This article will help you understand how and why we complete this confirmation process.

1.  On payroll Monday, complete your payroll process (see: Monday Payroll Process)

2. Once you have completed your Monday process it is time to complete the Payroll Confirmation PSC.  Start by visiting the landing page

3. Once there navigate the "Human Resources" menu and then select "Start a PSC".

4. Now select the "Confirm Payroll" button on the list of PSCs

5.  Complete the Payroll Confirmation.

1. Select payroll location you are processing
2. The payroll Monday will be set for by the systems.  You cannot edit this field.
3. Enter the regular hours from Toast (see: How to audit hours in toast).  You will need to exclude hours from non-hourly jobs and jobs that act as placeholders such as phone, cashier, or bar.
4. Enter the overtime hours from Toast (see: How to audit hours in toast).  You will need to exclude hours from non-hourly jobs and jobs that act as placeholders such as phone, cashier, or bar.
5. Enter any notes or payroll exceptions that you were unable to clear that may impact payroll.
6. Confirm that you are confident that you have audited the hours in your point of sale system and the hours are correct.
7. Click the "Confirm Payroll" button.

6.  Once you submit the Payroll Confirmation form a ticket is created in the HR Ticketing system letting anyone processing payroll know that your location has confirmed payroll and people may get paid!
