This lesson is a broad overview of how the Stratex Recruitment process works.
Stratex Recruitment - Hiring Process
Applicant fills out application online
Managers receive notification of submitted application
Review application and determine whether to schedule
interview or decline applicant
Call applicant and confirm interview time and date
If hired, give applicant new hire packet information (have
ready). Set up time for orientation, tell them to bring 2 forms of ID to
orientation, let them know they will be taking the abbreviation test and table
test (if applicable) at orientation. Once you process their hire – they will
receive an email to register and complete their onboarding.

Click specific candidate requisition à Go to Hired tab à Find Applicant and click
‘New Hire’ (This applicant will now be under the New Hire tab)
Fill out New Hire Info
FEIN, Position, Location, Template (New Hire), Confirm
First/Last Name, Put in Hire Date à
Hire
Fill out onboarding tasks
1st - Employer
Demographics – confirm name;
Login – Employee Registers, Email;
Employment Details – Hire Date, Employment type (Part time
unless Manager), Employee Number (‘Generate’ # is blank);
Position – Position, Position Begin Date, EEO Classification
(pre-filled), Security (pre-filled), Levels (Company, Region, Location,
Department, Job Code (Primary job));
Pay – Hourly, Hourly Rate, Default Earning type
(pre-filled), salary effective date (pre-filled), pay period hours
(pre-filled), Exempt(No), Work location (pre-filled);
Paycard - Email HR@HideawayPizza.com to notify that a paycard was issued with the employees name
4th - HR Checklist
HR will verify Direct Deposit Information
5th - Once ALL tasks are completed à Edit Pencil à ‘Mark this New Hire as
Complete’
Marking an individual as complete is what will change their
status from ‘Hired’ to ‘Active’ – will start the transition of Stratex à Toast à HotSchedules
Go to Employee profile and add the appropriate specialties

How to request off and cut off times for requests
Give new hire 1st free shirt, nametag, & hat (if
applicable)
