Stratex Recruitment - Hiring Process

• Applicant fills out application online
• Managers receive notification of submitted application
• Review application and determine whether to schedule interview or decline applicant
• Call applicant and confirm interview time and date
• If hired, give applicant new hire packet information (have ready). Set up time for orientation, tell them to bring 2 forms of ID to orientation, let them know they will be taking the abbreviation test and table test (if applicable) at orientation. Once you process their hire – they will receive an email to register and complete their onboarding.
• IN STRATEX
• If Rejected – Go to Stratex à management à recruitment à requisitions tab à view specific requisition à locate specific application à Change status to Reject
• If Hired - Go to Stratex à management à recruitment à requisitions tab à view specific requisition à locate specific application à Change status to Hired
• Click specific candidate requisition à Go to Hired tab à Find Applicant and click ‘New Hire’ (This applicant will now be under the New Hire tab)        
• Fill out New Hire Info
• FEIN, Position, Location, Template (New Hire), Confirm First/Last Name, Put in Hire Date à Hire
• Fill out onboarding tasks
• 1st - Employer
• Demographics – confirm name;
• Login – Employee Registers, Email;
• Employment Details – Hire Date, Employment type (Part time unless Manager), Employee Number (‘Generate’ # is blank);
• Position – Position, Position Begin Date, EEO Classification (pre-filled), Security (pre-filled), Levels (Company, Region, Location, Department, Job Code (Primary job));
• Pay – Hourly, Hourly Rate, Default Earning type (pre-filled), salary effective date (pre-filled), pay period hours (pre-filled), Exempt(No), Work location (pre-filled);
• Benefits – Benefit tier (none), ACA Tier (default);
• Timekeeping – Timesheet Access (view only);
• Time Away from Work (none unless manager);
• Documents (none);
• Review – Review and ‘Send to Employee’
• Ask Employee to complete their onboarding tasks prior to orientation
  
• 2nd - Employee
• Demographics; Self-Identification; Emergency Contact; Certs & Licenses; I-9; Tax Forms; Direct Deposit; Documents; WOTC; ‘Finish’
• 3rd – Employer
• Complete Section 2 of I9
• Check Direct Deposit - if no values, add paycard
• Paycard - Email HR@HideawayPizza.com to notify that a paycard was issued with the employees name
• 4th - HR Checklist
• HR will verify Direct Deposit Information
• 5th - Once ALL tasks are completed à Edit Pencil à ‘Mark this New Hire as Complete’
• Marking an individual as complete is what will change their status from ‘Hired’ to ‘Active’ – will start the transition of Stratex à Toast à HotSchedules
• Go to Employee profile and add the appropriate specialties
• Cover ‘Orientation at a glance’
• Explain further testing dates
• Give additional test study guides
• Toppings A
• Toppings B
• Menu Study Guide (FOH)
• After Orientation
• File tests into their individual folder and mark on progress chart if passed
• Add employee to phone list

• 1st training shift
• Give employee HotSchedules info page and explain schedule process
• How to set availability
• How to access their schedule
• How to request off and cut off times for requests
• Give new hire 1st free shirt, nametag, & hat (if applicable)
• Continue with current training procedures
