New Hire EmployEE Onboarding Tasks

This lesson will teach you about the employee portion of the onboarding process


The steps necessary that an employee needs to take to complete their portion of onboarding tasks. 


The employee will receive a 'Welcome to the Team!' email with a link to register:



They will be prompted to change their password:


Step 1: Demographics - pre-filled from application


Step 2: Self-Identification - pre-filled from application


Step 3: Emergency Contact


Step 4: Certificates and Licenses (Not currently used but may be used in the future)



Step 5: I-9 Section 1


Step 6: W-4 Tax Forms (OK stores have TWO W4's to fill out)


Step 7: Direct Deposit


Step 8: Documents - this is where the employee handbook will live


Step 9: WOTC


Finish


Once they complete all fields - they will submit and it will go back to the employer to fill out section 2 of the I9 and verify their direct deposit. 



Next - Complete New Hire
